Somebody asked me: what is prayer? For me, prayer is that oneness with God.

 
 
~For myself, Prayer is direct communication with our Lord.  In prayer i always can picture myself just standing right next to God... and we talk candidly about everything.  Most of the time these days prayer is used for supplication... for needs... but i believe that prayer is more then that.  Prayer is a way to show a friend up there that we appreciate them for all that he's done for us...  It's a way to apologize for our shortcomings... It's a way to complement the many works that he's done for us in our lives.. and after all that, then it's used as a way to present our many needs.  In a healthy prayer life... our Lord becomes our best friend and the conversations you can have with him are nothing short of miraculous
