well it's not the most exciting thing at this time of night, but not that you care.
things have been very mellow the past couple of days
i've spent a lot of time catching up with an old friend of mine
(my computer)

with all my trips and activities as of late i realized i've neglected my loyal friend here...
but since my situation has kept me at home
i've had no problem keeping myself occupied.

I did a major blog overhaul on Bev's blog, you can visit it here
i promised her i'd spruce it up a bit
make it a little more flashy...

it's been frustrating me for the past month so i've kept putting it off
but since i've got nothing else better to do i decided to go ahead and take care of that situation...
it was one of the hardest things i had to do...
to code her blog..
the new blogger tags aren't really compatible with many templates other then their own...

i had to teach myself to code all over again...
in the end i settled for how it came out
where it looked good
(but the html coding is so messy)

i rethemed her blog to accurately fit what she would want
and i used the pictures i borrowed from Fred's trip to Hawaii to make her header.

all in all i would like to reiterrate how HARD this project was
and how tedious it got to keep going back on forth to input new codes that i had no understand of.

but hopefully i learned a lot from this and will have an easier time when i decide to work on another template project.

I promised Grace that i'd make something for her
so well see how that turns out.


in other news...
Jon is stuck at home...
practicing his karaoke skills

i can hit 100 on the magic mike now consistently for a certain song that i practiced...
for certain to amaze people at parties
my vocals aren't great... but at least i have the score to fall back on.



we have mice in our house
the good news?

at least it's not rats...
but yea i haven't seen one yet...
and they seem to be eluding meeh

(i'm home all day and awake all night and i catch no mice activity...)


There's a Beach trip with the Love & Faith prayer community today...
to promote their Life in the Spirit Seminar over the weekend...

i'm sad that i'm not able to go...
but hopefully i can go to the LSS

sigh... i always feel sad when i think of the beach and everyone is having fun but meeh.
i've been to the beach a total of one time this summer...

thats pathetic...and summer is definitely winding down
school is supposed to start in a few weeks...
i'm not ready yet

one more trip to the beach... please...
