St. John said,'How can you say that you love God whom you do not see, when you
do not love your neighbor whom you do see?' He uses a very strong word. He says,
'You're a liar if you say you love God and you don't your neighbor.' I think
this is something we must all understand, that love begins at home.

~It's a joyous occasion this christmas season... one with much love and joy. The experiences that each of us shared as we exchanged gifts on christmas or christmas eve. The tranquility found in going to mass with your family, some at the midnight hour. Christmas parties with family and friends. These are all wonderful gifts of this season, as it is a season of love. Yet i do believe it is not the season that is most important... but the love working through this season... We forget our dramas between family members... we forget economical problems... we forget depression and strife and trade it all for happiness... oh what a joyous message the Lord sends down to us to Love each other... It is of most importance to realize that this is a giving love that should transcend christmas season itself and spread itself year round. To let this love transform us so we can continue in this Christmas state after the jingle bells and the lights have been packed away. And to love as well those who need love the most, to love those who are unlovable. when God said love thy neighbor... he means everyone
