A little less confusing, a little more atriculate:.
Happy Wonderful New Years everyone:.
I have taken a short vacation from my blog and im back to regale my readers with fantastic tales of dare do well and what not (the last line is a mangled version of a famous cliche, but as of the moment doesnt really accurately pop into my head, therefore i chose to wrote it out in the fashion that i think i remember it~! Oh well).
The winter was pretty eventful, but i just couldnt summon it up within me to turn on the computer screen and transfer my thoughts on paper. On a high note the people ive been able to spend these past weeks with have been a pleasure to be with. I was so grateful for any influence that they had exerted over me during our times together. It's been a long year, and i was suprised to find myself growing by leaps and bounds even as it draws to a close, all thanks of my friends. I deem them the greatest collection of intellectual minds ever, and in essence, those are what real friends are about, what they are there for...they think like you...they know the best for you...and they always seem to have the right words to say, and advice to give. In a way, everyones close friends are the smartest people in the world to them.
another thing i realized about myself in the previous year, that too often when i would talk i wouldnt exactly portray my thoughts exactly as i had thought them out. I would think one thing, say something else, and confuse everyone else from my real ideas. And too often i had let those scenarios slide, and my reputation takes a slight slant due to misunderstanding. I am easily misunderstood because i skip a lot of paths on the way to getting my ideas across. I sometimes jump to quickly at the main idea without first explaining how i arrived at the idea in the first place. It comes across that this is confusing to people because they hadn't been on the same path i had been on when i had the original thought in the first place and their level of understanding for the thought i was to share lay on a different path other than mines. It should be said, that the right thing to do, would be back track from my thought...and lead those i share my ideas with down the same road in which i had taken to arrive at the place of the idea.
Therefore, to be a little less confusing, i must understand that before i finish an idea, i need to realize where i need to backtrack and where i need to explain a little bit more, perhaps more background on what im trying to tell my friends so that they get to understand what i want to tell them on the same plane in which the idea im thinking of is. This is so nobody gets lost when they talk to meeh and to be understood is a wonderous thing.
i especially need to watch my words, and the wording which i put them in... sometimes thoughts ring so fast in my head that the speech gets jumbled up when it comes out my mouth. if i slow down to think, and word them in a simpler manner, more understanding will be achieved as well...in summation, a little less confusing, a little more articulate:. i may be intelligent, but intelligience is flawed when mixed with stupidity and haste. an idea is worthless, a story is useless, unless you can tell it right. to make others feel exactly what you feel, and from that vantage point, you can create more unique ideas together as there is no time wasted in catching up, or lost points, or mixed up points.
...it would be safe to assume that this year, i would want to cut down on confusion about myself in general, so people can really see me clearly, and when they figure out who i am, perhaps i may see my true self as well.
