Faith and Gifts

Umm this is a little convo i had with bev while i was ... ditching my nutrition class to finish up my microbio projects...
anyway, i don't know how we really got into this type of discussion...i don't even know where i pulled most of my opinions from, they juss came to me you know...

but anyway it's very unconventional so keep open to what i have said...
and leave me comments if you feel strongly about any part of it...

AnGeLBoiE36: like i looked at the person who was amazed at the gift of toungues
AnGeLBoiE36: and he/she will be like
AnGeLBoiE36: it's easy...any one can do it

Angel anst: scary stuff, at least 2 me

AnGeLBoiE36: its something you often hear people doing

AnGeLBoiE36: or rarely see it
AnGeLBoiE36: what if we go somewhere
AnGeLBoiE36: and eveyrone could do it...
Angel anst: that kind of healing...

i never did get to wrap up...but here it is...
when i was at SOL and caught off guard by a participants response about toungues,
because on my own belief and accord i thought that toungues was a common gift, unlike prophecy...

Most everyone on HOJ has toungues, a lesser percentage has prophecy...

so anyway when the participant was acting amazed by my toungues i really felt so nonchalant about it,
but in retrospect...
toungues is a gift...and it is a miracle, but just by how common it is in our community it really isn't regarded as such...
but by coming into contact with this participant it made me realize those aspects and a few more.

anyway, i told him straight out, the way i believe it, that anyone can have toungues...i told him with the same faith i had when i was told about toungues that if he wanted it, he could get it...

i remember when they were giving the rgg talk, the speaker spoke of the gift of faith...
he told us that it was the backbone of every other gift

AND I BELIEVE HIM WITH ALL MY HEART AND SOUL...

HOJ, we have toungues because there was never any doubt in our minds that we would recieve it...
that's how we were conditioned basically and that is a wonderful thing...
