~prayer without service... it is like working out and sleeping or being a couch potato afterwards. What is the point of it if you're not to put it to use. Prayer works out the spirit and makes it buff, at this point it is not enough to have spiritual muscles. it is important to use ur spirituality to serve your neighbors. No one lights a lamp and hides it under a basket, it would be a waste. If you are going to be a light for the world, stand on the highest mountain and proclaim God's works!! in summation... prayer is good as long as the focus is not on prayer for the sake of prayer, one must realize that prayer strengthens the soul so the soul can do the work of GOD, therefore one must know what he/she is praying for and why he/she is praying for.
