Find at least one good point in the other person and build from there. In the
family, you should thank each other, mentioning the good you have seen the
others do. In short, an understanding love-a love that sees the good in
others-will be our goal.

~it's important that we realize that each of us are children of God... Look upon the suffereings of others as your own sufferings... if one of our brothers is in pain, then we are in pain. We cannot just turn our eyes away from him and ignore the situation... The Lord would want for us to awknowledge the pain and help. there is no foe in friendships... and there should be no selectiveness in it as well. A stranger suffering is also brethren of ours. More importantly then that we take care of those who are close to us... and cling hard to them in their dire need...

when i feel really alone sometimes i imagine myself
dangling off a cliff on a rope...
i always feel like it's the end of the world...
that theres no way out...

then someone comes along and saves me
and holds that rope tight... promising never to let me go...
and they pull me up...

that is the power of friendships
That is the power of God's Love...
