~Dear God... when i am lost... and when i am despised... when i am opressed... i cannot smile, Lord i cannot even look up towards you because of the great burden that sits on my chest... but in your infinite and great mercy... you remind me that u came down for us... and such even when i can't look up to you... you have come to pick me up... oh Lord... be my smile, because you alone are the one that knows my heart... be my smile, sweet Jesus, for when i see you up on that cross, i may be in tears -- but you with your own heavy heart... cry tears of joy... for thats how much you have loved me... oh Lord... if i may smile for you today, let me show to others that my God loves them, and encourage them to smile too... may those who are lost, despised, and oppressed -- finally look up and see Your hand extending towards them to envelop them in the warm embrace of your love
